Logistics Supervisor

Henkels & McCoy, West LLC,  (HW) a MasTec Company, is a full-service engineering and construction company providing utility infrastructure solutions to its government and commercial customers.  HW service offerings include Consulting & Planning, Engineering & Design, Construction Management, EPC/Design-Build, Program management, and extensive Field Construction Services.  HW is a utility construction firm providing critical infrastructure for the Power, Oil & Gas Pipeline, Gas Distribution, and communications markets.  HW is also a founding member of the ET&D Partnership, a collaborative industry partnership working to reduce fatalities, injuries, and illnesses in the construction industry is currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator at our Headquarters location, in Pomona, CA to work within the Tools Group overseeing inventories, tool acquisition and coordination of the movement of materials and equipment to operating groups.

The best-fit candidate is one with a utility construction background who can quickly understand work processes and tracking systems, works well in a team environment, and is adept at problem-solving and developing ideas for increased efficiency. This position will oversee the coordination of all fleet assets and is required to work with different groups throughout the western US.

• Facilitate an organized and efficient approach to inventories of equipment.
• Oversee the fleet telematics program.
• Establish methodologies for tracking and establishing minimum inventory limits for key equipment to avoid any shortfalls or stockouts when items are requested from Operations.
• Oversee the Coordination of equipment mobilization/demobilization and maintain utilization of equipment.
• Oversee the transportation of vehicles and equipment.
• Supervise the procurement of necessary equipment to meet the demand of various projects at multiple locations.
• Ensure vendors are meeting established delivery terms and conditions.
• Ensure proper classification and rates of equipment.
• Lead in the improvement to processes and promote the benefits of equipment process improvements, and capture results achieved.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Work experience in the procurement of utility construction equipment is required.
• Associate degree or 3-5 years industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT and environmental regulations required.
• Computer skills – proficiency with MS Office application and Power BI required.

Salary Wage Range:  $72,400K - $90,500K - $108,600  (Annualized) BOE
