We are looking for a Mechanic (Lube Technician)to join our team in Kapolei, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Routine preventive maintenance of fleet vehicles at assigned intervals.
- Generating repair orders with computerized maintenance management system.
- Crawling, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting required.
- 90% working outdoors.
- Responsible for leading our Preventive Maintenance program and keeping updated documentation of all work performed.
- Responsible for keeping all Assets in DOT compliance.
- Air brake inspection and repairs.
- Hydraulic system inspection and repairs.
- Light duty engine repairs.
- Chassis repairs inspection and repairs.
- Light duty repair of construction type fleet equipment and vehicles.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications
- Aerial device experience a plus
- Basic welding experience preferred.
- Minimum type 3 Hawaii driver’s license required.
- Must be able to obtain a DOT Physical and Type 4 License in the State of Hawaii within 90 days of employment, CDL B with air brakes preferred.
- Experience in Air Brake inspection and repairs preferred.
- Must have at least 3 years medium duty diesel experience.
- Knowledgeable in repairing on road and offroad assets.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time to other work sites or between islands.
- Must have own personal tools to perform required work.
- Must be computer proficient.
Wage Range:
$25.00 - $35.00 hourly
