Parts Runner

Parts delivery for maintenance department, tool delivery for tool department and assist with vehicle maintenance/ housekeeping.

• A parts runner is responsible for issued company vehicles. Daily inspections of vehicle’s tires, lights, fluids and onboard company equipment and tooling. The vehicle is to be kept in a clean and safe operating condition.
• A parts runner is responsible for keeping a log of all the locations visited. All DOT driver’s logs are to be maintained and turned in if the driver operates a commercial rated vehicle. A Parts Runner is responsible for keeping track of all POs and Invoices, for his/her deliveries; to be turned in daily.
• Work closely with Mechanics to fill their parts needs and help out when needed.
• Work closely with tool department on tool deliveries to job sites.

Qualifications:

• A desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safely drive and operate company vehicles and equipment.
• Must possess or be able to obtain valid and appropriate driver’s license prior to employment.
• Physical exertion required, includes but not limited to: lift and carry heavy items up to 80 pounds or more, climb and access heavy equipment, stooping, walking and bending.
