As an Underground Foreman for the Google Project, you will develop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. Responsibilities
As an Underground Foreman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
In addition, you will:
- Use your knowledge and skills in construction to build, repair and maintain projects
- Concrete and asphalt restoration experience is a must (Finishing concrete panels, curb and gutter, monolithic pour, asphalt patches)
- Ability to manage your own crew for restoration (lining job out with construction supervisor, taking care of equipment/daily maintenance, calling in for inspection with jurisdiction)
- Work in outdoor utility construction sites
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
- Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment
- Operate backhoes, dozer, cable plow, air compressors, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers & other types of machinery
- Manage all aspects of job-site construction

- Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc.
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
