Responsibilities
The position of Warehouse Technician/Groundman you will perform shipping, delivery and receiving duties; responsible for helping maintain inventories through spot checks and cycle counts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives and delivers inbound packages.
- Drive a flatbed truck to pick up and make deliveries.
- Maintains inventory control.
- Fills material requisitions and delivers to appropriate department.
- Assists in purchasing materials.
- Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse and shipping areas.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
- All other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Required to obtain DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Drive a 24ft box truck
- Warehouse and shipping/receiving experience.
COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts a plus.
- Knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
