As a key member of MasTec Professional Services' team, the Design and Build Engineer will play a vital role in delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions to the power, oil & gas pipeline, and gas distribution industries.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing electric utility network distribution systems, with a strong understanding of make ready design, pole loading analysis, permitting, and construction units. Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and Excel is required, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The Design and Build Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver cost-effective and high-quality infrastructure solutions. This includes reviewing, interpreting, modifying, and creating utility plans/packages, as well as producing detailed design documentation.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the design of electric utility network distribution systems is required, along with an Associate's degree or equivalent related experience. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook is also necessary.
