Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Facility Worker to join our team with Master Building Services at Spectra Laboratories!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities. This role requires being open to performing different janitorial and facilities tasks and maintenance, ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and operational.
Shift: 2:30 am to 11:00 am
Days: Tuesday through Saturday
Duties
- Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables, including cardboard, in designated areas. Ensure proper disposal and maintenance of dumpsters.
- Parking Lot Cleaning: Sweep and clean parking lots and walkways to keep them free of debris. Report any hazards or damage.
- General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including sweeping, mopping, and surface cleaning in public areas and entrances.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols and wear PPE. Report safety hazards to management.
- Additional Support: Assist with any other tasks as needed to maintain a clean and safe facility
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Self starter & proactive with maintaining responsibilities
- Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
