Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various cleaning tasks independently.
Shift: 2:30 PM - 1100PM (Monday - Friday).
Duties
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the premises.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Ensure restrooms are cleaned, stocked and sanitized regularly.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
- Maintain equipment used for cleaning in good working condition.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check with no felony convictions.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and execute tasks while observing safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
