Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, tracking key performance indicators, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for assisting customers, contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

• Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including register operations and financial reporting.
• Support recruiting efforts by participating in the hiring process and conducting employee orientation.
• Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills in customer service and time management.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement promotional strategies and pricing adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in oil changes is preferred, with a proven track record of effective leadership.
• Experience operating coolant, transmission and AC flush machines.
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
• Multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple responsibilities.
