What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Extinguisher Technician position at Master Fire?
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, install and service portable fire extinguishers.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Fire Extinguisher technician or service technician preferred
- Ability to be hands on and find solutions to simple tasks and problems.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
- Must be able to acquire FDNY COF W-96. within 30 days of employment.
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS, LIST WILL BE PROVIDED.
MUST HAVE WORKING SMART PHONE FOR SERVICE APPLICATION.
MUST BE WILLING TO WEAR SAFETY TOED SHOES.
MUST BE COVID VACCINATED.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE US.
MUST HAVE VALID NYS DRIVERS LICENSE.
