Join Our Team as a Security Officer
Are you looking for a stable and supportive work environment with a consistent schedule? We are hiring Security Guards to work at a shelter, ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and guests. You wil be working with a team of staff and another guard.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-Time & Part Time, Permanent
- Schedule:
- Days: Monday – Sundays
- Hours:
- Shift 1: 6AM-2PM
- Shift 2: 2PM-10PM
- Shift 3 10PM-6AM
- Location: Fixed site – same schedule and location each day
- Start Date: Immediate openings available. Virtual interviews scheduled same or next day after applying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points, verifying authorization for visitors, staff, and vendors.
- Security Screening: Conduct respectful and professional checks of individuals and their belongings.
- Patrolling: Perform regular site patrols to prevent unauthorized access, identify safety concerns, and report incidents.
- Safety Monitoring: Assist staff with security oversight, identify potential risks, and support shelter operations.
