Security Officer - Weekends

Position: Security Guard

We are looking for a dedicated Security Guard to join our team in a stable, full-time role with a fixed schedule and work location. This is a permanent position offering reliable hours and consistent shifts. This is for a hotel that has been turned to a shelter.

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday: 2PM-10PM
• 16 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Shelter Entrance Security: Oversee entry and exit at the shelter’s main access point. Verify and authorize all visitors, guests, staff, partners, and vendors.
• Regular Patrols: Perform routine patrols of the premises to prevent intrusions, ensure safety, and report any incidents as they arise.
• Safety Assurance: Actively monitor shelter operations, addressing any safety hazards such as spills or equipment issues. Patrol dorms and the perimeter, supervising clients as needed. Offer assistance to clinical and case management staff when required.
