Job Summary:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for successfully managing and overseeing the execution of assigned residential construction projects. The PM ensures that all contracted work is completed in accordance with company policies, including adherence to contract documents, budget, schedule, safety standards, quality control, and customer satisfaction. The PM manages subcontractors and suppliers while maintaining a strong focus on delivering exceptional results and fostering customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of residential construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, building code and company standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor project budgets, approve subcontractor invoices, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy job site environment, complying with all state and federal regulations.
  • Manage post-closing follow-ups and oversee the completion of warranty claims.
  • Use centralized scheduling tools to track project progress and ensure adherence to build schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certifications:
  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction science, Construction Management, or a related field and/or Builder’s License with the SCLLR.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential construction, including scheduling, field supervision, quality control, and production management.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and project timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of all construction trades and building processes.
