What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at Master Maintenance?
We are seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper for our location at Marathon in Detroit.
Summary: Responsible for carrying out light and heavy cleaning tasks for buildings. This position requires passing a stringent background check and drug screen. We also require that you have a VALID Driver's License and reliable transportation. We are looking for someone with previous custodial/janitorial, light maintenance, and snow removal experience.
Available shift: Monday-Thursday 7:00AM-5:30PM (10 hour working days)
- Will occasionally be asked to work mandatory overtime.
- During the winter months there are days where you would need to arrive between 3AM-4AM to focus on snow removal. Must have knowledge on using a snow blower.
Groundskeeper Essential Job Functions:
- Snow removal, landscaping, lawn mowing, and light maintenance as needed.
- Clean and disinfect equipment
- Remove garbage and recycling
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Must wear fire resistant clothing and steel toed boots
- Must be able to commit to an on-call schedule
- No facial hair should be visible
