QUALITY ASSOCIATE

Job Description

The Quality Associate is responsible for formulating, implementing and administering the Quality Management System (QMS) and pivotal initiatives to achieve short- and long-term quality improvement objectives for the facility. AS A QUALITY ASSOCIATE YOU WILL:

• Guide a dedicated Production team focused on quality standards of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain and improve quality process and support broader Operational Excellence strategic initiative procedures to ensure compliance with ISO / IATF, customer specific requirements and all regulatory requirements
• Manage the ISO 9001/ IATF 16949 Total Quality Management System including audits, corrective actions, preventive action plans etc.
• Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
• Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
• Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures
• Participate in internal and external quality audits
• Maintains and actively participates in the development of supplier quality management processes that comply or exceed Master Manufacturing’s supplier quality program requirements

Required experience & skills:

• Must have a friendly and helpful personality and extremely good communication skills
• Must have ISO 9001 experience
• Working knowledge of quality engineering skills such as drawing interpretation, inspection planning, operator/inspector certification, gauge design, etc.

Preferred education, experience & skills

• Experience with ISO IATF 16949/TS 16949
• 3 years proven record in quality engineering / manufacturing engineering or production management roles.
