Job Summary:
Master Medical Equipment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control/Purchasing Manager/ Analytics professional to oversee the company's inventory, purchasing strategies, and data analytics functions. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, accurate purchasing, and the integration of data analytics into business operations to support decision-making and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control Management:
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to ensure accurate inventory tracking and optimal stock levels.
- Oversee inventory audits and work with departments to ensure proper inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory trends, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights to improve stock management.
- Collaborate with the operations team to forecast inventory needs and minimize stock outs or excess inventory.
- Purchasing Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
- Lead procurement strategies to acquire products, parts, and materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring compliance with budget and operational requirements.
- Track purchasing budgets and work closely with the finance team to optimize procurement costs.
- Analytics & Data Management:
- Analyze inventory and purchasing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends to leadership.
- Utilize data to forecast inventory needs, optimize purchasing decisions, and improve operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate, actionable, and aligns with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in inventory control, purchasing, and data analytics, preferably in a biomedical, healthcare, or related field.
- Strong proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
