Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through engaging activities and structured learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Utilize Montessori methods and other educational approaches to enhance children's learning experiences.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their social skills and emotional well-being.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing behavior management techniques as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom activities.
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to support their growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum or with other disabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics and implement effective behavior management strategies.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.
  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
