What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permanent Makeup Artist/Lash Technician position at Master Minds Tattoo?
We are a busy tattoo shop currently looking to hire a permanent makeup artist/ lash technician at our busy walk in shop on the NE side of town. Pay to be discussed in the interviewing process! Clientele is a plus! We're looking for someone who is drug-free, drama- free and has reliable transportation!
Duties
- Perform high-quality eyelash extension applications, ensuring safety and comfort for clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
- Educate clients on aftercare for eyelash extensions and other beauty services offered.
- Assist with retail sales of beauty products related to eyelash care and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyelash extensions and related beauty services such as hair extensions and hair threading.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and exceptional customer experiences.
Skills
- Proficiency in applying eyelash extensions with attention to detail.
- Experience with salon software for appointment management and client tracking.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of hair extensions, hair threading, and retail sales techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform additional beauty services such as straight razor techniques or tattooing is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- A commitment to ongoing education in beauty trends and techniques to enhance service offerings.
