JOB DESCRIPTION
Does education ignite a passion to make a difference in students lives? Are you experienced in tutoring students in the following courses : AP PreCalc, AP Calc AB / BC, AP Statistics or IB Program
We are looking to hire AP Instructors / Tutors who will be responsible with conducting 1 : 1 or group tutoring sessions with our students who are preparing for the AP Exams. Our instructor must be able to teach students test-taking strategies and time management skills to maximize students performances on the AP Exam. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educators to make a positive impact on students' learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors degree in related field in tutoring (required)
- Master's degree in related field in tutoring from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- 1 year experience teaching AP courses as a tutor / teacher (required)
- Successful track record of developing students knowledge in AP Test Prep (required)
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
