What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Elementary Teacher position at Master's Academy Arts & Academics?
Master's Academy is a homeschool hybrid in Marietta, GA providing academic classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays to students K5-12th grade. We partner with families as they homeschool their children by providing in school teaching, hands on activities, assignments to complete at home, grading, etc. Our class sizes are small (no more than 15 in each classroom) which allows us to know our students well and meet them where they are.
We are seeking a first grade teacher and second grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year (grade TBD). This teacher would provide instruction in math, language arts, and be the homeroom teacher for lunch, recess, activities, etc. An ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's degree in education, more than 2 years of teaching experience, a creative and hands on approach to teaching, an accepting teacher who is willing to teach "out of the box" learners, be a great communicator and able to partner with our families well, be someone who can follow our syllabus but create unique lesson plans for each school day.
We are scheduling phone interviews and then follow up in person interviews this spring.
