What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President Marketing position at Master Search Solutions?
Our client, a New Jersey based "family-style" entertainment provider, is seeking an Executive Vice President (EVP) of Marketing. In this role YOU will develop and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. The EVP will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role is pivotal in shaping our clients positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, with a strong focus on new market penetration and event launches.
In this role YOU will:
- Design and execute a strategic vision for our clients marketing initiatives, aligning with company goals and industry trends to drive growth, traffic, brand initiatives while continuing to increase market share.
- Define/develop the marketing plan including value proposition, positioning, segmentation, marketing mix, and aligning marketing execution across all geographies and market segments.
- Develop/execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and emerging channels to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Drive collaboration across all departments as an internal advocate to promote consistency, as well as provide an understanding of how the marketing team can support campaigns, initiatives, and be an overall asset to the organization.
- Translate operational strategies and plans into marketing and communication objectives to drive standardized and measurable performance standards to track and ensure continuous improvement.
- Develop creative content and marketing solutions around our clients players, events, and other company initiatives.
- Build strategies to scale paid traffic campaigns to drive high ticket conversions.
- Build targeted strategies to drive traffic through promotions, campaigns and activations.
- Set and enforce brand standards by ensuring that all content, promotions, design, and voice are consistent with our clients brand, and empower the team to help define what that brand is.
- Increase brand visibility through brand perception metrics, targeted marketing campaigns and effective PR strategies.
- Utilize data analysis, market intelligence, and consumer insights.
- Develop KPIs in partnership with senior executives.
- Develop annual operating budget.
YOU might be the RIGHT person if YOU have:
- 15 years of experience across all verticals of marketing, strategy, and technology
- Experience working for a destination venue, family style entertainment provider, or cruise line
- Background in digital marketing including experience in social media, managing paid advertising campaigns, database growth, brand awareness & launch campaigns, media buying & OOH marketing, as well as creative design for both static and dynamic needs
- Track record of developing/executing marketing strategies in diverse global markets, understanding cultural nuances and regional dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to be incredibly hands-on and organized
- Ability to influence business strategy with a view of current customer needs and market opportunities
- Experience identifying and analyzing complex problems to create short, mid, and long-term solutions across marketing and sales initiatives
- Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
