What are the responsibilities and job description for the Holecut Saw Operator position at Master Spas?
We take pride in handcrafting high-quality Spas and Swim Spas, and our production team is at the heart of our success. We are looking for a Holecut Saw Operator to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for using pneumatic drills to precisely cut spa shells for jets, lights, suctions, and controls.
What You'll Do:
- Operate pneumatic drills with the proper hole saw to drill spa shells.
- Sand and inspect drilled holes for proper thickness and quality.
- Conduct minor repairs to fiberglass and acrylic surfaces.
- Follow safety guidelines, including wearing a full-face respirator and Tyvek suit while working.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the department.
- Work in a facility with various chemicals, including fiberglass, resin, plastic, glue, and foam.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Comfortable standing, squatting, and bending for extended periods.
- Experience with pneumatic tools is a plus!
- Willingness to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
- Fiberglass experience is helpful but not required—we offer training!
- Must obtain respirator clearance before working in the Holecut department.
Training & Pay Progression:
- Starting Pay: $16.50/hr (introductory period)
- First Increase ( $2.00/hr): Upon respirator clearance & initial training completion
- Additional Increase ( $1.00/hr): Based on skill mastery & approval by trainers and supervisors
