To build orders per customer requirement using industrial forklift.

Job Title: Order Puller
Job Summary:
To build orders per customer requirement using industrial forklift.
Essential Functions:
- Per customer requirement, pulls product from various locations of warehouse using industrial forklift.
- Ensure orders are properly packaged with designated paper, carton, etc.
- Prepare labels for cartons and apply as required.
- Complete bin transfers and update bin locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Complete proper documentation, as required.
- Complete quality control inspection, including inspecting parts for damage, verifying product and counts are accurate.
- Weigh pallets/bins and stage completed orders in designated area for shipments.
- Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
- Keep aisles clean, remove empty skids and stack them in designated areas.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report discrepancies to maintenance.
- Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work procedures.
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Ability to operate an industrial forklift (sitting & standing) and cherry picker.
- Ability to use RF (radio frequency) warehouse scanners.
- Ability to operating packing equipment such as strap machine, shrink wrap machine, staple guns, rivet guns, etc.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of material handling.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Reading and basic math skills.
- Frequently sitting or standing on a powered industrial truck.
- Ability to move or lift typically 30-50 lbs.
- Other physical demands – stooping, kneeling, handling, etc.
- Ability to work overtime on short notice.
- At least 2 years experience operating a forklift (standing & sitting).
- 1 year of experience order pulling.
- Warehouse experience in shipping or receiving preferred.
- Pass a company forklift driving test.
