Job Description
We are seeking an AI Security Engineer to develop and optimize AI-driven security automation, authentication monitoring, and anomaly detection for the Statewide Identity & Access Management Portal. This role will collaborate closely with the DevOps, Security, and IT Teams to implement AI-based fraud prevention, performance optimization, and automated user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI-driven authentication security models for Entra ID (Microsoft Identity Platform) to detect anomalies, unauthorized access, and fraudulent login attempts.
- Integrate AI-powered monitoring tools to predict system failures, optimize performance, and reduce authentication latency.
- Create and refine AI chatbots & virtual assistants for real-time user support and troubleshooting.
- Implement machine learning-based threat detection and security event logging using Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and AI-based log analysis tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to enhance self-healing automation for security vulnerabilities.
- Support AI-driven adaptive authentication mechanisms that dynamically adjust security levels based on user behavior.
- Continuously train AI models using real-time login patterns, security alerts, and feedback from security analysts.
- Work with compliance teams to ensure AI-driven security measures adhere to FERPA, COPPA, and other regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in AI/ML model development with security or identity management applications.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based AI tools, preferably within Azure AI, AWS AI, or Google AI/ML services.
- Experience in anomaly detection, fraud prevention, and security threat monitoring using AI.
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and Entra ID B2B/B2C.
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools such as Azure Sentinel, Splunk, or Microsoft Defender.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and automation pipelines using AI models.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred: Experience working with K-12 or government identity management systems.
