Job Details
Job Title: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Developer
Work Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (occasional weekend/evening work as required)
Location: Location: Location: Austin, TX , 100% Remote, Work Location With-in the United States. Equipment pick up required. May be Monthly meeting required.
Notes:
- The contract may be extended annually through August 2028, based on performance and funding.
- Candidates must adhere to TEA workplace rules and procedures, including timesheet reporting.
- This is a time and materials contract, meaning payment is based on approved hours worked.
Job Description:
- Expertise working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (advanced concepts such as bulk collect, handling data in JSON/XML format)
- Expertise with writing complex Oracle queries and optimizing them to reduce SGA/PGA/TempSpace usage
- Proficient in storing, querying, manipulating JSON data in Oracle database tables
- Proficient in creating complex queries and views using data stored in JSON format
- Proficient in optimizing performance of stored procs and views accessing data stored in JSON format
- Documentation
- Dev/Unit Testing
- Participate in Agile development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud-based Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices for database management.
