Overall Purpose:
As a CNC Machinist (Swiss), you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines and ensuring the production of top-quality products. Your expertise will help us optimize workflow and achieve our business goals efficiently.
Essential Job Functions & Expected Outcomes:
- Read part blueprints and documentation to understand machining parameters and programs.
- Determine machining processes from print to part.
- Select, align, and secure work holding, cutting tools, and materials on CNC Swiss machines.
- Operate machines by loading and unloading parts, adjusting settings, and monitoring processes.
- Maintain specifications by observing operations, troubleshooting processes, and replacing worn tools.
- Verify finished work-piece conformance to specifications using measurement tools.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Document production and quality logs, and collaborate with engineers to resolve machining problems.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years in manufacturing and Swiss CNC machining is a must.
Functional Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
