Entry-Level Accountant – Manufacturing

Masterbilt Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team! Key Responsibilities:

Financial Support:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records.
• Help with preparing basic financial reports and summaries for leadership review.
• Support the month-end close process by assisting with reconciliations and journal entries.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and on time.
• Support collections efforts by following up on outstanding customer payments.
• Help resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies with vendors and customers.

Inventory & Cost Support:

• Assist with basic inventory tracking and reconciliations.
• Help perform simple cost analysis tasks to support the finance and operations teams.

Compliance & Recordkeeping:

• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
• Support audits by gathering and preparing needed documentation.
• Follow internal control processes and assist in ensuring compliance with company policies.

Team Collaboration:

• Work with accounting and operations teams on special projects and process improvements.
• Provide support across departments for finance-related questions and tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or currently pursuing a degree (or equivalent experience).
• 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships or part-time experience a plus).
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel – comfortable with spreadsheets and basic formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and willingness to learn and grow.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
