Masterbilt Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team! Key Responsibilities:
Financial Support:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records.
- Help with preparing basic financial reports and summaries for leadership review.
- Support the month-end close process by assisting with reconciliations and journal entries.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and on time.
- Support collections efforts by following up on outstanding customer payments.
- Help resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies with vendors and customers.
Inventory & Cost Support:
- Assist with basic inventory tracking and reconciliations.
- Help perform simple cost analysis tasks to support the finance and operations teams.
Compliance & Recordkeeping:
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
- Support audits by gathering and preparing needed documentation.
- Follow internal control processes and assist in ensuring compliance with company policies.
Team Collaboration:
- Work with accounting and operations teams on special projects and process improvements.
- Provide support across departments for finance-related questions and tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or currently pursuing a degree (or equivalent experience).
- 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships or part-time experience a plus).
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel – comfortable with spreadsheets and basic formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and willingness to learn and grow.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus but not required.
