Job Description

A Continuous Improvement Document Specialist works within Decora to support the Masterbrand Way. This individual will assist in standard operations documentation and data analysis to meet needs of both internal and external customers. 
Responsibilities:
    Manage Standard operations documents including creation and updating of Standard Operating Sheets (SOS), standard work packets, TPMs and CTQ’s among other documents.
    Conduct time observations for Standard Operations
    May participate in document reviews for SOS, JHAs, Standard work packet, TPMS and CTQs as assigned. 
    May assist in prep work for breakthrough value stream kaizen events including baseline data collection, pre-kaizen current state mapping including time observations and process mapping as assigned.
    Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Self-driven/motivated and be able to manage multiple tasks (Multitask)
    Works well both as a team and as an individual
    Time management, complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal direction
    Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to lead multi-functional work teams to consensus.
    Must be flexible and have ability to take on broader assignments for additional development opportunities.
    Well-developed Organizational skills for managing & executing projects to expected results.

Qualifications

High school Diploma, some college preferred.

Proficiency in excel and Microsoft tools.

Experience with Lean tools, and Kaizen event methodology preferred but not required.
