Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to distribute and supply materials, including daily equipment inspections and reporting any nonconformances.
- Efficiently load and unload trailers using proper PPE and safety procedures, with high attention to preventing injuries.
- Follow supervisor instructions to move materials, supplies, and goods to designated areas within the company.
- Comply with all MBCI Safety Policies and maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory, reorder supplies as needed, and demonstrate knowledge of wood species and Decora product line.
Qualifications
- Pass all forklift exams (written and hands-on)
- Works well as a team
- Previous experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate
- Works well under time processes
- Operate both forklift and reach trucks
- Sense of urgency and drive
- Flexible
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Excellent spatial awareness and depth perception
- Commitment to workplace safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold)
