Position Summary:
The Environmental Manager will work directly with the Grants Pass leadership team to ensure environmental compliance and drive best practices within the Grants Pass facility. The Manager will also assist in corporate auditing and other initiatives as assigned.

Job Description
Accountabilities:
- Lead all Title V air permit compliance, reporting and renewals
- Clean Air Oregon CAO toxics reporting
- Lead all RCRA Large Quantity generator waste compliance, reporting
- TRI Form R Reporting
- Lead all 1200Z storm water permit compliance and reporting activities
- Lead EPCRA reporting and compliance activities
- Lead SPCC compliance activities
- Lead DOT Hazmat and IATA Dangerous Goods compliance activities
- Lead recycling initiatives and create new opportunities to reduce waste and improve sustainability efforts.
- Track environmental and ESG metrics, ensure updates in tracking databases
- Oversee environmental compliance training
- Help identify recycling and waste reduction projects
- Provide technical support and guidance to facility management
- Champion regulatory compliance and direct implementation of best practices.
- Provide training to facility staff
- Lead the implementation of the company’s strategic environmental plans.
- Lead compliance audits: DEQ Hazardous Waste, Storm Water and Air
- Monitor facility waste streams and their associated cost – implement corrective action as needed
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends, environmental legislation and ensures compliance
- Implement EHS standardized policies and best management practices
- Develop and manage Greenhouse Gas Reduction Planning
- Owner of the 3rd party Sustainable Cabinet Certification Program
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a leadership role within the manufacturing environment preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a Title V air permit in a manufacturing facility preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts as necessary
- Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results with efficiency and effectiveness.
- Dedicated and committed EHS leadership and presence
- Solid people skills with professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to implement EHS policies and practices
- Must have analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities
- ERA/EHS software experience preferred
Travel
- 10% or less expected
Education:
- BS degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field with significant experience in environmental programs preferred
Additional Information
Work Environment:
- Office environment with frequent environmental exposure to low-grade radiation from computer monitors
- Manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to wood dusts, and cabinet-making related materials.
- Exposure to hot and cold elements due to non-climate controlled environment.
- Wearing of Personal Protection Equipment required when on manufacturing floor: eye and ear protection.
- Adherence to Entanglement clothing policy required.
