As the Plant Manufacturing Manager you will oversee all aspects of plant operations to ensure production schedules are met with highquality products delivered on time and within budget while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. By effectively managing production and departmental leaders you will drive performance optimize processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure production and shipping schedules are met in alignment with cost quality and safety standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to departmental team leaders reinforcing company values policies and performance expectations.
- Coordinate plant activities with department managers to achieve manufacturing objectives efficiently and costeffectively.
- Monitor production processes to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to operational goals.
- Manage departmental budgets controlling labor overtime premium freight and repair expenses.
- Enforce company safety programs and policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to enhance maintenance processes and resolve quality concerns.
- Establish and track plant performance metrics for production efficiency and quality assurance.
- Identify and implement process improvements leveraging lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of production and job time records.
