Qualifications
The Quality Auditor is responsible for assisting the Quality team with inspecting product and processes throughout the plant.
Accountabilities:
- Assists in inspecting product and processes throughout the plant.
- Documents and coordinates inspection reports and procedures.
- Investigate quality issues and their causes.
- Help perform audits.
- Implement process improvements to help reduce quality issues.
- Assist team leaders and other staff in process improvements, quality training, and identification and resolution of problems.
- Assist production associates in following documented instructions.
- Assists in making decisions on highly diversified work (under direction of Quality Supervisor).
- Able to bend, twist, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull and stack materials.
- Understands, carries out, responds and contributes to all written and verbal departmental instructions.
- Contributes as a team member and assists other teams in continuous improvement activities.
- Maintains clean, safe, and orderly work area, keeping the safety of self and others in mind at all times.
- Maintains company and department quality standards.
- Assists in maintaining production goals, including flexible hours as required.
- Follows all established safety practices and procedures, including reading and understanding materials and safety data sheet.
