Job Description
The Central Store Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized area, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, You will normally work this shift, however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.

Job Description
The Central Store Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized area, and assisting with inventory management. Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide service to Central Store customers via phone, emails, texts, IM’s, and in person.
- Assist employees with transactions at the Central Store window.
- Create requisitions within D7i.
- Contact vendors regarding parts pricing, availability, delivery, and repair status.
- Assist with inventory accuracy of all Central Store locations throughout the plants and warehouses designated for storeroom inventory.
- Enters vendor managed orders into Oracle for everyone in the facility to support plant operations.
- Assists in non-stock or specialty purchases of items not in inventory for the entire plant to support plant operations and maintenance.
- Supports plant maintenance planner/scheduler in building parts kits meeting required timelines for maintenance to perform planned work.
- Maintain repair applications, parts, identification of vendors for maintenance planning.
- Identify and support continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities.
- Supports training in Oracle, and SOP’s for D7i for maintenance personnel.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Adhere to, all safety processes and security measures to promote a clean, safe work environment.
- Should be detail oriented and have good communication skills always.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Prior knowledge of Oracle, D7i, Excel and/or Outlook is preferred.
- Understanding of maintenance parts and uses is preferred.
- Have a good attendance record and a positive attitude, excellent communication skills.
- Obtain and maintain in good standing a forklift license to unload trucks when necessary.
- Possess a valid driver’s license for pick up or delivery of parts when needed at vendors in town, local and abroad.
- Must be flexible to cover all shifts as necessary including weekends. Scheduled hours will fluctuate with needs of the business.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to perform task while working at heights.
- Capable of using use small hand tools.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
