Organizational Relationship:
This position will report to the Scheduling Supervisor.
Accountabilities:
- Generate, maintain, and communicate daily and weekly production schedules.
- Provide training as needed to all levels on Component Plant Processing, Assembly Plant Processing, and Scheduling Processes and Reports.
- Cross train with other members of the scheduling team to ensure multiple layers of backup for critical tasks and responsibilities.
- Participate on teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, quality improvement, and system enhancements.
- Setup and maintain Component routings for product through business system.
- Setup and maintain APP and CPP tables for new product introduction.
- Assist in plant quarterly inventory training and be a knowledge base for inventory process.
- Ability to communicate with all audiences.
- Ability to be a good listener.
- Knowledge of applicable software programs. (Microsoft Excel and Access, AS400, Oracle, CPP, and Mainframe)
- Ability to analyze a problem, break it into components, and implement solutions.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Ability to provide accurate information to internal and external customers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to multitask, work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills an asset
- Excellent time management skills
- High School Graduate or Equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be highly reliable, with ability to work additional hours outside of normal working hours as required
