Job Summary:
Masterbuilt Kids Early Childhood Center is seeking a dependable and flexible Substitute Teacher to join our team! This role is essential in providing a nurturing and engaging environment for children ages 0-5 years when regular staff members are absent. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient, and passionate about early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for children in classrooms ranging from infants to preschoolers
- Follow daily schedules, including meal times, playtime, learning activities, and nap time
- Implement lesson plans and activities designed to support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and personal hygiene as needed
- Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents
- Follow all state licensing regulations and daycare policies
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working with young children (ages 0-5) preferred
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work on short notice
- Ability to adapt to different classrooms and age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements
