Summary
The Regional Account Executive – Mx (RAE) is responsible for actively engaging manufacturing prospects in the company's defined sales process. The RAE is expected to have excellent selling, closing and qualification skills. Additionally, the RAE for Mx should have extensive manufacturing experience in a life science industry, particularly with respect to process flow and electronic batch record management.
The RAE will manage a geographic sales territory and maintain a sales relationship with all prospects and customers. Lead Generation is required and will be conducted within the appropriate territory.
This includes – but is not limited to – cold calling, marketing campaigns, attending trade shows, and
following up on trade show and association leads. Regional Account Executives must be able to accurately forecast revenue using a defined Staging Process.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - 125,000 salary $100,000 - 125,000 commission and bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Actively sell to inbound MC Prospects specifically interested in Mx
- Collaborate with Quality Excellence (Qx) RAEs to attach or add Mx to the customer or prospect product portfolio
- Grow and expand Mx adoption within defined territory
- Lead generation, including cold calling, MC campaigns, trade show leads, MC associate leads, industry association leads, etc.
- Follow up on pre-qualified leads provided by Sales Development Representatives
- Participate in trade shows
- Provide product demonstrations
- BA/BS
- Proven track record of successful multi-level, complex software sales
- Experience with digital transformation in a life science or related manufacturing industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, food and beverage, nutraceutical, etc), where batch records are required.
- MES, ERP and LIMS experience helpful.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to manufacturing batch records
- Specific knowledge of manufacturing processes and movement of material in a manufacturing environment.
- Accurate forecasting of revenue based on opportunities
- Extensive prospecting experience
- Strong leadership and presentation skills
- Must live within defined territory
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, over the telephone and in e-mail
- Ability to quickly learn technical skills
- Ability to build strong sales relationships
- Experience with Salesforce
- 10 years in enterprise software sales
- Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion, when necessary
- Extensive travel required (40%)
- Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time
- Strong understanding of MS Office applications
