SUMMARY
The Small Tier Account Executive (AE) is responsible for selling the MasterControl Qx product to new, emerging-market life sciences companies. This market moves fast and the ability to quickly and accurately qualify opportunities, cover all stakeholders and articulate the benefits and ROI of our solution is critical. Our AEs work inside a well-defined sales process and are compelling communicators, understand technical issues in the life sciences quality space and collaborate well across all internal support teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 - $75,000 salary $65,000 - $75,000 commission and bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Small Tier Account Executive (AE) is responsible for selling the MasterControl Qx product to new, emerging-market life sciences companies. This market moves fast and the ability to quickly and accurately qualify opportunities, cover all stakeholders and articulate the benefits and ROI of our solution is critical. Our AEs work inside a well-defined sales process and are compelling communicators, understand technical issues in the life sciences quality space and collaborate well across all internal support teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership of the full sales cycle from lead to close using the MEDDPICC sales methodology as well as a host of custom tools and processes
- Respond to inbound leads as well as foster new relationships for MasterControl through targeted outbound efforts
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets while maintaining exceptional data and forecast hygiene
- Participate actively in team activities as well as training and enablement workshops, exercises and certifications.
- 5 years relevant sales experience, preferably in a SaaS organization
- Industry knowledge and experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device markets
- Experience managing a large, fast-moving pipeline and closing 10-20 software deals per year
- Excellent discovery skills, natural curiosity and crisp, compelling communication skills
- Proven ability to work through the problems and roadblocks that arise in sales cycles
- Able to marshal internal resources to win as a team
- A mastery mindset and desire to seek feedback to constantly improve
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive
- Bachelor's degree required
- Some travel required
