What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Builder position at Mastercraft Industries, Inc?
This position is responsible for building high-quality custom cabinetry from detailed prints. Mastercraft Industries produces a wide range of customized cabinetry and associated components from raw dimensioned lumber. Master Builders will create beautiful, furniture-quality product while meeting daily production goals according to established schedule. Successful builders will maximize quality, throughput and efficiency by:
· Interpreting detailed prints, line-drawings, and production dependent specifications.
· Utilizing a wide variety of basic woodworking tools, including, but not limited to, table saws, dado saws, planers, shapers, routers, chop saws, drills, clamping tables, various sanders, and a wide variety of hand tools (orbital sanders, staple guns, etc.).
· Setting up and performing general maintenance on all tools employed.
· Utilizing industry standard measuring equipment — including tape measures and micrometers.
· Inspecting all work to ensure it meets all customer requirements and quality standards.
· Maintaining 5S principles of cleanliness and organization to material staging zones and the surrounding work area.
· Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring that all safety policies are followed.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Extensive knowledge of woodworking equipment: table saws, dado saws, planers, shapers, routers, chop saws, drills, clamping tables, hand sanders, staple and nail guns, etc.
· Experience with reading and interpreting CAD drawings, line drawings, and basic prints.
· Attention to detail and high work standards.
· Self-motivation, a solid work ethic, and the drive to exceed expectations.
· Solid communication skills to work with other key stakeholders, including maintenance, engineering, and other production areas.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
