What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Sales Assistant position at Mastercraft Pool and Spa?
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Pool Sales Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll support the sales team in promoting and selling swimming pools, pool products, and services. You’ll assist customers in choosing the right pool solutions based on their needs, while ensuring an exceptional buying experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks and customer service needs.
- Gather plans/designs, parts list/pricing, contractor bids, and items needed to complete the sales packet.
- Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.
- Assist with simple marketing items i.e. create a flyer or gather collective information from our system
- Help with showroom displays and keep products clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Greet and engage customers in-store, over the phone, or online.
- Provide information on product features, pricing, warranties, and installation timelines.
- Prepare sales quotes, invoices, and follow up on leads or inquiries.
- Follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic math and computer skills (experience with POS or CRM systems is helpful).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
