Shift Schedule:
1st Shift: Tuesday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Possible additional shift on Friday)
2nd Shift: Tuesday through Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Possible additional shift on Friday)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general maintenance, mold installation, and fabrication tasks. This role supports production by ensuring equipment, tools, and systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Consistently follow work instructions and safety guidelines
Operate and maintain equipment such as welders, torches, saws, and drill presses
Understand and support basic plant functions, including machining centers, presses, air compressors, and mold installations
Perform press programming
Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance
Safely operate fork trucks and scissor lifts
Perform basic building maintenance and repairs
Apply basic electrical and robotics knowledge to troubleshoot issues
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience preferred
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed
Comfortable working at heights and on top of presses
Physical Requirements: This role involves regular physical activity, including lifting heavy objects, standing or walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, and working in various indoor and outdoor environments. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks as a routine part of their job responsibilities.
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry objects (50 lbs )
May use warehouse tools and equipment, including electric/air tools and hand tools
Must possess good vision and hearing capabilities
Work Environment:
Frequently exposed to loud noise and moving mechanical parts
Must follow all safety protocols and procedures
Education:
Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma and at least six months of related experience.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and situations to other employees of the organization.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
