What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRESS OPERATOR position at Mastermold LLC?
We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality products by operating machinery, maintaining production flow, and ensuring each part meets our quality standards.
We are currently hiring for both first and second shift positions. Specific hours and shift details will be provided during the interview process.
What You’ll Do:
Operate production presses and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare, weigh, cut, and organize raw materials for production.
Load and unload parts from the press, ensuring accurate processing.
Use hand tools and pneumatic equipment to de-flash and assemble components.
Inspect finished products for cosmetic and functional quality.
Properly tag, label, and document all parts according to procedures.
Follow all safety and operational protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic reading and writing skills.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable work ethic and consistent attendance.
Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Comfortable working with hand tools and machinery.
Good vision required (including depth perception and color identification).
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, loud manufacturing setting with moving mechanical equipment.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with all safety procedures are mandatory.
