Job Description
The AR Credit Collections Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accounts receivable, resolving collection issues, gathering and maintaining customer credit information, and providing weekly or monthly reporting related to customer credit.
- Maintain daily accounts receivable balance reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of the daily accounts receivable aging balance and daily cash receipts entry.
- Work with Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist regarding progress on deducts, debits, and credits.
- Set up information in IBMI and DocStar systems once new customers receive approval and credit limit from the Chief Financial Officer.
- Monitor current credit limits and gather information for potential credit limit increases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a related area, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Two years of billing, collections, or related office experience is preferred.
- Must have good mathematical and analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and accuracy.
