Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of our resort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guest relations, human resources, accounting/bookkeeping and front desk management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create memorable experiences for our guests. As the Resort Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the resort, ensuring all departments work cohesively to deliver exceptional guest services.
- Oversee front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, perform bank reconciliations and produce and maintain operating budgets.
- Hire and perform on-boarding activities for new employees.
- Perform administrative duties for the Board of Directors.
Experience
- Strong skills in guest relations with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including reservation systems and night audit procedures.
- Strong bookkeeping/accounting skills with experience in financial management and accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
