Masterson Staffing in partnership with our valued client located in Lakeville, MN are in search of experienced sanitors to start ASAP!
Previous sanitation experience working in a food production plant preferred.
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 5:00AM - 5:00PM OR 5:00PM - 5:00AM
Pay:
5:00AM - 5:00PM $16.00/Hour
5:00PM - 5:00AM $17.00/hour
Summary of the Position:
The sanitation worker works as a member of the sanitation team to clean general plant area, equipment and helps in the removal of refuse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works as a member of the sanitation team to clean general plant area, equipment, and helps in the removal a refuse, using the following tools: broom, brushes, sprays bottles, mop and ringer, squeegee, water gun, air gun and vacuum. Works safely and is aware of surroundings, at all times.(100%)
- Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
- Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
- Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
- Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
- Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation and possess previous cleaning and sanitation experience.
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus!
