Job Description
Diesel Mechanic - Power Generation
Qualified Power Generation Mechanics are required for an established and dynamic shop in Kansas City. Knowledgeable, reliable and team-oriented diesel techs will integrate into an established team while providing quality repairs to customer equipment in a state of the art facility.
Power Generation Mechanics that excel in this role should have experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, overhauling and repairing engines and generators from several different manufacturers : Generac, Atlas Copco, Kohler, Yanmar, Aggreko, Cummins, PACCAR, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, Mercedes, Navistar, International, Duramax, etc.
Experience with PLCs, Data Center Switch Gear and Transfer Switches, Load Bank Testing as well as AC / DC experiecne will be given preference.
Compensation
35.00 – $55.00 / hour to start based on experience and training. Benefits available after the first 90 days of employment and include :

Schedule
Day Shift, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, flexibility will be required to accommodate emergencies an extraneous projects.
Requirements
310T Licensed Previous Bus Experience Preferred OEM Training / Certification Preferred Diagnostics Troubleshooting Overhaul / Engine / Transmission Experience a plus Clear Communication
Salary : $35 - $55
