The Proposal Writer is responsible for the preparation of responses to RFPs / RFQs / RFIs and bids to assist MasterWord with securing a client’s business.
Status : Full-time
Location : On-site in Houston, TX or Remote
General Duties
General duties include without limitation :
- Monitor procurement websites for open tenders and prioritize the opportunities that are most beneficial for the organization.
- Determine proposal concept, identify risks associated with proposals, ensure the organization is compliant with the eligibility requirements, and can perform services in compliance with specifications outlined in the proposal.
- Develop proposals by assembling information such as project nature, objectives / outcomes / deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.
- Coordinate submissions and collections.
- Perform research that may be industry specific, company specific, or demographic.
- Write, revise, and edit drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.
- Write, edit, or standardize material prepared by other writers or company personnel, and write speeches, articles, and public or employee relations releases for the company, as requested.
- Develop and maintain an archival and tracking system for RFPs and related documents.
- Keep abreast with the latest trends in the Language Industry.
