Senior Strategist
Full-time, Salaried, Remote
masterworks.agency & makehistoric.com
We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategist. This pivotal role requires you to be a player-coach, an individual who can lead and cast vision like an executive, while also getting into the tactical weeds of execution. You will coach, advise, consult, and build for a variety of faith-based and social-impact clients.
ABOUT US
Historic helps nonprofits to change and grow so they can create the future that should be.
As a human-centered design studio and strategic brand advisory, we partner with world changers to define, position, and transform their brands. The result? Cutting-edge relevance, avid fans, and greater impact for their cause.
Through co-creative sprints and workshops in branding, marketing, messaging, visuals, product development, fundraising, and more, we help organizations gain clarity, solve problems, and seize opportunities fast.
These core principles guide our work:
- Greatness Requires Collaboration: Our best innovations happen when multiple ideas come together. Great work requires the same. We know our expertise alone isn’t enough to deliver the best results for our clients. That’s why we foster such deep, collaborative relationships with them.
- Good Frameworks Frame Good Works: We don’t wait for creative inspiration to strike — we design for it. We take creativity so seriously that we obsess over the neuroscience behind it and build systems that protect, amplify, and reproduce it. It’s our job to reproduce creativity to make us—and our clients—more effective.
- Vulnerability Matters: Solving the world’s greatest challenges requires risk. As Craig Groeschel says, “To reach people no one else is reaching, you’ll have to do things no one else is doing.” This type of work requires us to lead through vulnerability that earns the trust needed for world-changing risk.
- We Put People First: People drive our decisions. We seek to understand the views, needs, wants, problems, pains, and hopes of those we serve. We extend this empathy not only to our clients but to their audiences and our team.
- We Train To Be Elite: In an era of generative AI, we bring heart, perspective, empathy, and excellence. Like gold-medal athletes, we hone our craft through mastery, precision, and relentless preparation. While speed is our pursuit, we always avoid shortcuts, resist compromise, and strive for the best solution—not just the first.
- We Deliver What We Promise: Agency relationships get a bad rap. We work hard to deliver on what we promise and always do the next best right if we can’t.
