We are seeking a full time bar and restaurant events manager for our award winning brewery and restaurant in Downtown Cleveland. Since our doors opened in January 2017, we’ve built our brand and reputation as one of the nation’s best new breweries, and our employees are key to that continued success. Responsibilities
The management, coordination, and planning of taproom events ranging from simple reservations of 20 or more to complete property buyouts. Communication between the party, management, and kitchen to ensure the smooth execution of events. Assisting the General Manager in management of daily restaurant activities and staff. Relationship management with folks who are booking events and/or have previously booked events and cold calling to bring additional events to the restaurant. Manage beer releases via our online sales platform, and plan and execute special events such as our anniversary party, on site beer fest, etc.
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects with superb accuracy
- Understand how to prioritize and manage time
- Strong communication and administrative skills

- Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person
- Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
- Critical thinking
- High School Diploma or equivalent; will accept relevant work experience in place of education
- Varied hours based on events schedule volume of business
- Prior restaurant / event management experience a plus
- Flexibility to work shifts (day, evening, weekends, occasional holidays)
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Attention to detail and record keeping
- Focus on customer satisfaction
