The Warehouse Operations Associate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling produce carefully to prevent damage and ensuring that the product meets company quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack product into containers and seal them properly.
- Responsible for meeting packing productivity standards as set out by the Supervisor.
- Clean and sanitize the pack room.
- Follow Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, and Operations policies and procedures.
- Identify safety concerns and communicate with the Supervisor accordingly.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with produce or in a warehouse environment.
- The ability to learn and retain a wealth of product and customer knowledge.
- The ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly.
- Manual dexterity: the ability to work with your hands for the entire shift.
- The ability to stand/walk for an extended amount of time.
Working Conditions
This position requires you to work in a refrigerated warehouse with varying temperatures, from cool to hot, and be capable of frequently lifting up to 30 lbs.
