Primary Function:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in the high-growth CEA industry (Controlled Environment Agriculture). The candidate should be highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented and extraordinarily passionate about building data driven solutions to business problems. The Financial Analyst position will help us discover information hidden in vast amounts of data and drive smarter business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support weekly KPI reporting
- Continue to develop the reporting framework through the use of current and new analytical / business intelligence tools
- Design, manage, and run customized reporting for sales, planning and executive teams
- Organize, prepare, and maintain large, complex datasets for analysis
- Help the evolution of a results oriented and robust category management strategy
- Implement robust data visualization to support analytical objectives
- Support strategic planning, demand management, supply management, performance management
- Leverage analytical insights to develop actionable items for improvement
- Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of category management activities
- Use data sources to develop regular and ad hoc reports to support the organization
- Communicate effectively throughout the organization
Education/Background Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, concentration in business, finance or analytics preferred
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in building and maintaining complex financial models
- Ability to be highly organized to handle multiple priorities
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment with sensitivity and respect
- Participate in multiple projects and tasks, with constantly changing priorities and evolving issues
- Ability to deal with confidential issues with discretion
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter

Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment.
- Some travel between work locations domestic and international required (Kingsville, Ontario and Livonia, MI).
